There are two bars with risers that can be adjusted to the required height. I love this product! We purchased a new bedroom suite and no matter how good the furniture is all they ever give you is a couple of wooden slats that fall out. Then the mattress sags. The metal supports are the answer. Will make your mattress feel new again. Especially good if someone is heavy and needs more support. I will buy more in the future for other beds.
